Psychosomatic Integration

Selbstliebe See

Here is what I experience, feel and think about psychosomatic integration:

The word psycho comes from the greek language, referring to soul. The word soma refers to body.
This to me shows beautifully how psychosomatic work facilitates the manifestation and clarifying of the soul as an embodied entity that chose to incarnate into a human form.

The more we walk this path of psychosomatic integration, the more clear this can become and feel.

Instead of using psychedelic substances for example, one can have psychedelic experiences by simply becoming deeper embodied as a soul. The world and experiences can feel more rich and visceral. The connectivity of all things can feel more evident, life can become more synchronistic (synchronicities become more visible) and one can feel more guided and supported by the Universe (God, the Divine..)

This is of course one aspect of a large spectrum. There are other elements, too:

Psychosomatic sessions also facilitate the cultivation of deeper internal connection.

In sessions we sit with and give attention to the parts in yourself that you struggle being with by yourself. Those are usually parts that want to run, feel overwhelmed, parts that want to do nothing or just feel seen, parts that feel frozen and so on.

We often experience distress with ourselves, life and others when there are parts of us that we are not tending to. Once we practice getting acquainted to those abandoned parts inside of us, we can see their deeper meaning. They all carry a message and have a need and the reason why these parts are running the show is because we have not extracted the wisdom that they hold.

As we continue practicing and learning to meet the deep and different parts of our psyche, we gently can experience deeper and broader layers of awareness and compassion.

As we drop in instead of running away, energy tends to be freed up in our system. This in turn can open new doors. Creativity might flow more freely, ideas and solutions can come in surprising ways and we might feel more at ease and home in ourselves.

This work has the potential to integrate inner wounds and bring about a more embodied experience of presence and inner compassion.

It also often leads to getting into contact with the inner child as well as the inner baby.

I’d like to say that this work does not magically make all our problems disappear (of course not 😌). It does however give us a deeper sense of internal resources and creativity to meet the world with.

Other effects of this work can be:

  • Believing in oneself and going for the dreams one has
    ➣ following inner guidance/intuition
  • Feeling more intimately connected to one’s body and inner world
  • Being more aware of one’s needs and having increased capacity to communicate them.
  • A matured/more sustainable way of dealing with one’s emotions
  • Increased compassion and understanding for oneself and therefore fellow humans
  • Deeper insight into oneself as a human-soul being
  • Because I have personal experience with psychedelic substances and how well somatic work can support the integration of those experiences (“bad trips” as well as good ones), I also offer support with this for those who feel a need. Reach out if you have specific questions.

A note:

Hosting sessions for people is a profound and enriching experience for me. Many years of personal experiences is what I draw from in sessions (+ training I took).

At the same time am I also on the path of life, hence I want to state that I am not here to claim that this work will solve all your issues.

In a time where there are many quick fix or “ultimate” promises on the internet, I find it relevant to say this.

Nevertheless do I strongly believe in the potency of this work which is why I offer it. ♡

Something you might also consider: “How many sessions do I need?”

It is useful to give this approach some time. Something around 3-6 months. Sessions can be weekly or bi-weekly. This is how I see that this work can benefit in a more lasting, profound way.

Session duration: 60-75 minutes

50,-€ to 80,-€

On sliding scale pricing:
I use sliding scale pricing in order to make this service available for lower income earners as well.
I see the possibility of a world in which resources are fairly distributed and I feel that a sliding scale pricing is part of this journey.
Those who are richer in financial resources can pay a higher price and those who are less fluid can pay on the lower spectrum.

Please be honest with your evaluation as to how much you can pay. I do not ask to see a proof of income status and prefer to work with honesty and trust.

Over the past years that I have been offering services, using a sliding scale system feels the most wholesome for me. It responds to the beliefs and values I have and I am grateful for other practitioners in the fields of consciousness and healing who have inspired me to offer my services in a similar fashion.

Contact me here if you have questions or to book a session and confirm the price on the sliding scale.
