I do not feel that sex can only be had “for fun” in our current world.
There are so many aspects and layers to our human experience and I gotta say: Since I dove into the world of psychosomatics and trauma information, I have come to learn that each of us carries wounding. Whether those wounds be more obvious or more subtle…
We are a race that has learned to suppress its bodily and intuitive intelligence for millennia.
Humans have been suppressed and distorted emotionally, physically and spiritually by different man-made concepts…
I dare to say: None of us has gotten away unscathed.
And having sex in this context solely for fun without being aware that each of us carries a diverse package of conditioning and wounding from childhood and beyond is being blind to our full humanity – in my opinion ✨
Sex nowadays entails healing.
And healing requires deep intimacy.
And deep intimacy is to come into contact with our own deep inner world to then share that with the deep inner world of another.
This is not only fun – while allowing lightness, joy and laughter in is certainly healing too.
There’s no need to perform a sexy act.
What is longed for is Love. Is understanding. Is allowance of our insecurities, feelings, thoughts and longings so that sex may not just be “fun” but real.
