In my opinion, it’s a big untruth that following our heart/soul/desire (whatever you wanna call it) makes everything just easy and all problems go away.

We humans are a deeply wounded species and I am kinda sick of trying to be all like “naaah it’s not so bad” about it.
The split of our bodies from their naturality, the distortion of our authentic expression and relating is but one piece of the big spectrum in which we are wounded.

That being said: following our heart is wonderful and soo needed.
On this journey we get to be surprised, rearranged and may get to know ourselves in ways we could’ve never imagined.

The difference between walking the road of “history just repeating itself” and of stepping out of the trodden path, into a mystery that is actually our nature:
On the trodden path we grind and are numb to the nature of (our) existence.
On the path of heart, soul and body-intelligence we may cry, scream, walk, sing, dance and joyfully cry and laugh our way through life.

It doesn’t just get “better”. It gets richer. Deeper and wider. More authentic and “real” (dare I say this word).
