Some more details that didn’t fit on to the flyer + possible questions:
What you can expect at the feminine embodiment workshop:
I will guide you through a variety of exercises that aim to support an explration and expansion of your unique expression as a woman.
Feminine embodiment practices are exercises that aim to support you in the exploration of your feminine body.
Practices that we will likely explore with at the workshop are:
➣ Playing with some movements from tribal fusion belly dance to drop deeper into conscious fluidity (a balancing of inner masculine and feminine qualities)
➣ Mirror work
➣ Consciously directed breath
➣ Conscious touch (of your own body by yourself)
➣ Womb meditation – a guided exploration of your feminine sexual organs and energy center
➣ Guided body meditation for increasing sensitivity
➣ Guided meditation to connect to and communicate with body parts that you may struggle with
➣ Guided meditation to connect to emotional aspects of yourself that you may struggle with
➣ Practicing some movements from tribal fusion belly dance
➣ Dancing freely
Please note: This might sound like a lot and I will likely not just do each practice in a “tick them of the list” kind of manner but rather weave them together in a coherent way that feels appropriate to the group’s dynamic.
What to bring:
➣ A journal
➣ Clothing in which you feel comfortable as well as feminine
What else?
➣ There is also going to be space for vocal exchange and reflection
➣ Because the room that we will be in has a mirror, I intend to incorporate some mirror work as well. This is not necessarily a “feminine” practice but rather a genuine self-development tool
